NIKE AIR MAX 95 HYPER TURQUOISE

Nike reinvites the “Hyper Turquoise” back to its Air Max line-up for ’23. After introducing the colourway on the Air Max 90 in 2020 as part of its Recraft offerings, the Air Max 95 is now next up on the chopping block. Fans of the silhouette might recollect the “Fresh Mint” and "Aluminum" iterations from ’19 which went on to become highly sought-after pairs during the lockdown era, or even this year’s “Stadium Green”, both of which lean into a similar hue. If you regret passing up on any of the above, you can avoid that feeling by grabbing a pair of these Nike Air Max 95 “Hyper Turquoise”.

The turquoise accents are far from subtle, as seen on the Air units, lace loops and branding. The typical AM95 suede layering on the side wall details a lighter transition that moves from light to dark, a reverse we glimpsed on the “Black Neon” edition from earlier this year. The toe panel is formed from a blue-tinted grey, which is a change from the standard shade of black and white. Embroidered in its usual fashion is a mini-Swoosh sat under the ankle collar, going hand in hand with the Pill logo on the tongue and lace loops to add an extra pop to the upper. Rooted in its DNA, the matte black midsole and 3M panels on the forefoot and heel keep to the silhouette’s classic tooling, contrasting the lighter tones on the upper. Apart from a dash of light blue, the outsole remains uniform and will still give you the trusty traction that you’ve grown to love.
